\"DemoBerlinvsViolenceWomen25Nov2015-0059\"<\/a>The incidents that took place on new year`s eve in K\u00f6ln are unacceptable to all women*, or better said to all human beings on this earth, regardless of their colour, their religion or origin. What happened in K\u00f6ln should not be dealt or talked about as if this would be the only case that has happened in this so-called civilized society. Violence against women* appears in many different kinds, and of all over the world men are practicing it on a daily basis, and also German men are perpetrators. In the same time only the fewest sexual assaults or attacks and the fewest rapes that are happening in this society are avenged, and much less prosecuted. To deport refugees in order to \u201eprotect\u201c women* is as absurd and insincere as fighting wars in the name of womens*rights. What this actually means for the population one can see from what is happening in Afghanistan right now: even more dead people and deconstruction.<\/p>\n

Since a long time we are trying to bring the topic of sexual and physical violence and harrasment against refugee women* in the Lagers to public attention. Since more than ten years we have been fighting for our demands that refugee women* and children should be accommodated in private flats and that all lagers should be abolished. We have enough reasons for our demands, such as for example the lack of privacy, sexual violence and harassment. Refugee women* have to face sexual harassment and racism on an everyday basis, inside as well as outside of the Lagers. Not only men, who happen to be refugees as well, are perpetrators, but also German men are \u2013 inside as well as outside of the Lagers. So far our actions and demands concerning the issues of sexual violence and harassment against refugee women* have not been given much public attention. But all of a sudden we are listening to a lot of people talking about the incidents that happened in K\u00f6ln \u2013 no matter if we are watching the news or listening discussions and arguments inside of public transports. Refugee women* are \u201ewomen*\u201c who are living in this society and their predicament-like situation should be taken into account when we are talking about these topics! The violence against refugee women* needs to be contextualized instead of being used as a justification for discrimination and racism in our society. At this point there shouldn\u2018t be a separation made between Refugee women* and German women*!<\/p>\n

We have never claimed, that this is a so-called \u201ecultural \u201cproblem or that of \u201ea particular group of people\u201c. In fact sexual violence against women* does not care about (does not know\/ does not exclude?) any nationality, religion or class. The way this incidence is being populace one does not need eye glasses to see that what happened in K\u00f6ln is being functionalized, that is an excuse for criminalization of refugees and for legitimation of deportations. In fact this debate is not about women*.
\nThe incidents in K\u00f6ln cannot be looked at singularly and be misused as legitimation for (mass) deportations. We cannot talk about a so-called \u201ewelcoming-culture\u201c in Germany and different concepts of \u201eintegration\u201c on one hand and at the same time keep on practicing a separation into \u201egood\u201c and \u201ebad\u201c refugees \u2013 or in those ones who have so-called \u201egood perspectives\u201c on their permission to stay, and those ones that are forced to leave the country \u2013 on the other hand.
\nWe demand an immediate recognition of gender-specific forms of persecution!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Finally stop using violence against women* as a legitimation for (mass) deportations of refugees, just because a racist part of this society is renewing pressure and performing obvious populism.<\/p>\n

We need solidarity among us!<\/strong> We demand clear policies, refugee women* finally need to be protected from sexual violence, sexual harassment and physical violence. We demand a policy which will provide that women* have the chance to feel safe \u2013 no matter what status they have, or they are being attributed to by this society.
\nThose ones who are violating and harassing women*, the perpetrators, must be contestable for their criminal actions \u2013 without discriminating them because of their origin, nationality, religion, status or colour.
\nFor all these reasons mentioned, we have been demanding for more than 10 years now, and we will keep on demanding:<\/p>\n

Ensemble contre le racisme, la discrimination et le sexisme:<\/strong>
\nArr\u00eatez de justifier la discrimination et le racisme en notre nom! Les incidents qui ont eu lieu au nouvel an \u00e0 Cologne sont inacceptables pour toutes les femmes, ind\u00e9pendamment de leur couleur, religion ou origine. Les incidents de Cologne ne doivent pas \u00eatre trait\u00e9s ou popularis\u00e9s comme un cas isol\u00e9 dans cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 soit-disant civilis\u00e9e. Il y a de nombreuses sortes de violences contre les femmes, partout dans le monde, les hommes sont auteurs de violences, y compris les hommes allemands agissent ainsi.<\/p>\n

Oui, nous avons essay\u00e9 depuis longtemps de porter l’attention du public sur la question des violences sexuelles et physiques contre les femmes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es dans les Lagers (Heime). Nous avons fait des campagnes pour que les femmes et les enfants r\u00e9fugi\u00e9_es puissent \u00eatre log\u00e9_es dans des appartements. Que tous les Lagers soient abolis. Nous donnons pour cela suffisamment de raisons \u00e0 nos revendications: absence de sph\u00e8re priv\u00e9e, violences sexuelles et harc\u00e8lement. Les femmes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es font face au harc\u00e8lement sexuel et au racisme tous les jours, \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur et \u00e0 l’ext\u00e9rieur des Lagers. Non seulement de la part d’hommes qui se trouvent \u00eatre des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s, mais aussi d’hommes allemands – \u00e0 l’int\u00e9rieur comme \u00e0 l’ext\u00e9rieur du Lager. Jusqu’\u00e0 pr\u00e9sent, nos revendications et nos actions sur cette question n’ont pas re\u00e7u beaucoup de publicit\u00e9 ou d’attention. Mais depuis quelques temps, on entend parler des incidents de Cologne partout – que ce soit aux informations ou lorsque des \u00e9trangers en discutent dans le train.
\nLes femmes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es sont des \u00abfemmes\u00bb vivant dans cette soci\u00e9t\u00e9 et leurs difficult\u00e9s doivent \u00eatre abord\u00e9es en tant que telles ! Les violences contre les femmes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es ne doivent pas \u00eatre sorties de leur contexte pour justifier la discrimination et le racisme dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9. On ne devrait faire aucune s\u00e9paration entre les femmes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es et les femmes allemandes sur ce point!
\nA aucun moment, nous n’avons sugg\u00e9r\u00e9 que ceci serait un probl\u00e8me culturel de tel ou tel groupe de personnes en particulier. Il est un fait que la violence sexuelle contre les femmes n’exclue aucune nationalit\u00e9 ou classe. Face \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re dont des incidents sont popularis\u00e9s, il n’y a pas besoin de lunettes pour voir qu’il ne s’agit en rien de la violence contre les femmes, mais de la criminalisation des r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s et de leur d\u00e9portation.
\nLe cas Cologne ne doit pas \u00eatre isol\u00e9e et utilis\u00e9 comme pr\u00e9texte pour expulser les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s. Nous ne pouvons pas parler d’accueil et d’int\u00e9gration d’un c\u00f4t\u00e9, et dans le m\u00eame temps pratiquer la discrimination en s\u00e9parant le \u00abbon\u00bb et le \u00abmauvais\u00bb, celui qui restera et celui qui sera forc\u00e9 de partir.
\nArr\u00eatez d’utiliser la violence contre les femmes comme une excuse pour expulser les r\u00e9fugi\u00e9s du fait qu’une section raciste de la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 fasse pression et s’engage dans une politique populiste. Nous avons besoin de solidarit\u00e9 parmi nous. Achetons un billet aller simple pour la lune \u00e0 tous les hommes qui violent des femmes, et voyons combien il en restera!
\nNous exigeons une politique claire sur la fa\u00e7on de prot\u00e9ger les femmes r\u00e9fugi\u00e9es contre la violence sexuelle, le harc\u00e8lement sexuel et la violence physique. Une politique qui permette aux femmes de se sentir en s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sans tenir compte du statut qu’elles peuvent avoir dans la soci\u00e9t\u00e9.<\/p>\n

Ceux qui violent les femmes doivent \u00eatre tenus responsables de leurs actes criminels sans \u00eatre discrimin\u00e9s en raison de leur origine, nationalit\u00e9, religion ou couleur de peau.<\/p>\n

C’est pourquoi nous demandons depuis plus de 10 ans et continuons d’exiger:
